J’\u00e9tais impatiente de retrouver certaines saveurs depuis mon passage au 100% v\u00e9g\u00e9tal! Les plats issus du continent africain ou des cara\u00efbes sont en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral carn\u00e9s ou \u00e0 base de poisson et de fruits de mer \u00e0 l’exception de la Ital food<\/a> du mouvement Rastafari. Rares sont encore les restaurants dits “afro plant-based- en France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quelle ne fut pas mon excitation en d\u00e9couvrant ce restaurant l’Embuscade<\/a>! Autre fois non vegan et fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 par le gratin parisien, cet \u00e9tablissement a tenu son pari! Tenu par un couple fort sympathique rencontr\u00e9 lors du festival Smmmile<\/a> \u00e9dition 2021, ce lieu mythique situ\u00e9 \u00e0 la station de m\u00e9tro Saint-Georges ou Pigalle, requiert de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence une r\u00e9servation. Seulement quelques y places sont propos\u00e9es pour 2 personnes, un autre petit salon est parfait pour un groupe modeste, le bar offre la possibilit\u00e9 de s’y accouder et le salon du fond, assez intimiste, est plus spacieux et d\u00e9cor\u00e9 \u00e0 merveille ille par sa cheffe, aussi artiste peintre \u00e0 ses heures. Le sous sol quant \u00e0 lui, est r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux folles nuits dansantes…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le restaurant est \u00e9galement pet-friendly. Leur labrador femelle noire Ch\u00e9rie-Coco s’y ballade nonchalamment entre vos jambes mais pas d’inqui\u00e9tude, cette grande habitu\u00e9e ne vous r\u00e9clamera pas votre dessert! Le menu est simple et efficace – malheureusement non disponible sur la page de leur site. Les cocktails tournent autour de 12\u20ac sont extr\u00eamement bien dos\u00e9s et \u00e9pic\u00e9s \u00e0 souhait, le choix des plats est volontairement limit\u00e9s et les “sides” sont tri\u00e9s sur le volet. En grande amatrice de gingembre j’ai opt\u00e9 pour le cocktail “Traquenard” excellent. Rien \u00e0 dire sur les frites de patates douce fondantes \u00e0 souhait et surtout… j’ai retrouv\u00e9 la saveur du Yassa! Pour les non connaisseur, ce plat d’origine s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise<\/a> fait \u00e0 partir d’oignons, de poulet avec une sauce tr\u00e8s citronn\u00e9e qui bien caract\u00e9ristique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plut\u00f4t dubitative au d\u00e9part j’ai pourtant bien retrouv\u00e9 le go\u00fbt originel du plat, incroyable! Aurevoir poulet, et Welcome le champignon Eryngii <\/a>de la famille des pleurotes. Sa texture savamment retravaill\u00e9e est bluffante et prend bel et bien l’aspect du poulet grill\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les portions correctement servie, j’en suis sortie repue, malgr\u00e9 un app\u00e9tit d’ogresse. Il me tarde d’y retrouner pour enfin go\u00fbter un autre plat de la carte : le Tieboudi\u00e8ne sans di\u00e8ne , autre plat traditionnelle s\u00e9n\u00e9galais, et bien entendu 100% sans cruaut\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
